Test Series

Comprehensive Test Series is targeted to help students who are ready with their preparation for Anthropology optional. The goal of this course is to help students answer questions as per the requirement of examination in a time-bound manner. The Program will comprise of 6 Sectional Tests & 4 Comprehensive Tests, each will be followed by Discussion. Further, it will include updated Study Material and Doubt Sessions for Fossil Evidence, Primates, Archaeology and Tribal India.

SECTIONAL TESTS

Tests will have 5 questions (All Compulsory) of 50 marks each.

• Test 1, Nov 7: Social Cultural (institutions, introduction, basic concepts of anthropology, research methods, theories)
• Test 2: Nov 17: Physical (Fossil, primates, race growth ecology, applications)
• Test 3, Nov 24: Social Cultural + Physical
• Test 4, Dec 4: Indian Archaeology + Indian anthropology
• Test 5, Dec 14: Tribal India
• Test 6, Dec 22: Indian Archaeology + Indian Anthropology + Tribal India

 COMPREHENSIVE TESTS

• Tests will have 8 questions as per UPSC pattern.
• Questions 1 & 5 will be compulsory.

Compressive Test 3, Jan 12: Paper 1

Compressive Test 4, Jan 19: Paper 2

For Candidates Appearing in IAS 2024
The Test Series will be held in 2 Parts:

Part I: Comprehensive Test Series (Schedule given above)

Part II: Time-Bound Answer-Writing Programme

This programme is exclusively for the students who qualify for Mains 2023. Target of this programme is to prepare students on how to attempt both expected and unexpected questions in exam based scenario and scoring best in limited time.

Time-bound Answer-writing session will be held twice a week (Wed/Thu & Sunday)  after Prelims 2024 result is announced. Schedule will be made available after the result is announced.

Time-bound Answer-writing sessions will broadly be divided under following Sections:
1. Marriage, Family & Kinship
2. Economy, Polity & Religion
3. Introduction & research methods
4. Fossil Evidence & Primates
5. Archeology
6. Evolution & Genetics
7. Race, Growth, Ecology & Applications
8. Basic Concepts (Indian Anthropology)
9-10. Tribal India

Sundays’ sessions will be ONLINE only.
Wednesdays’ sessions will be ONLINE & OFFLINE both.
