Introduction: The Neolithic transition from hunting-gathering to plant cultivation and animal domestication fundamentally altered human society. V. Gordon Childe termed this transformation the “Neolithic Revolution” because food production generated far-reaching economic and social consequences.
- Sedentary settlements
Cultivation encouraged people to remain near:
- fields;
- stored crops;
